Do you have a turntable that does nothing but collect dust? As you no longer have use for it yourself, a good idea is to sell it, and you might just get a nice sum of money for it as well...

The first thing you should do is figure out how much your turntable is worth. A great way to do this is to simply search the internet for the model name, and see if you can find some action houses or other online stores that sell a similar one. This will give you a fair idea about how much your turntable is worth.

I recommend that you also do some more research on the model name, as it might just be antique or a collectible. The way to do this is of course first try to search for the model name, and see if anything comes up. If not, then search for "modelname + collectible" or along those lines.

Once you have a fair idea on the price you turntable will sell for, you have several option as to where you should sell it. You could sell it locally, by for example putting an ad in your paper. What I recommend you do though, is that you sell it using ebay.com or a similar auction website. This way, your turntable will be seen by a lot of people, at minimal cost for you.

Using online auction houses makes the whole process of buying a selling a breeze. They tell you pretty much all the steps you need to go though and how you should deal with potential buyers. All you have to do is to set up the sales page, sit back and watch the auction!
